Has anyone ever done this?

Post by rationtin440 » Sun Mar 04, 2012 12:08 am

OK, I was really bored, nothing good on TV, so I decide to try a little experiment. I find two movies on DVD that have the same actor in a major role, but are completely different content-wise. In this case the movies were "Sharky's Machine" and "Dukes of Hazzard" both with Burt Reynolds. Just for kicks my wife and I tried to find similarities between both of his characters but to no avail. Ah well, another boring night in western Hampshire County, MA. :? :(

My wife and I do that too, funny how some actors act the same no matter what movie they are in.

By the way, Burt Reynolds was great in Boogie Nights. Marky Mark  Walhberg act the same in all movies, although I find some of his act good I don't care much for him. He too was great in Boogie Nights.

If you watch Boogie Nights it may not be something you want to watch with your kids. NSFW 70's porn business.

Sorry this took so long, jaminphx. I liked Wahlberg in "Shooter" but still not convinced he did as good a job in "The Other Guys." He is a good actor though, especially in "The Departed."
