Anyone feeling cold? Think of us!

Post by Baldy » Wed Jan 28, 2009 11:16 am

We had 43 deg C (109.4 F) today, with the same predicted for Thursday and Friday. Those of you with snow & ice don't know how lucky you are....

I like it cold. I hate it when it gets above 75f but I'm happy with the 4 inches of snow and ice we have.

For me I have found that it is easier to warm up, than to try to cool down. I love winter even if it is below zero.

Well, we got through it - it reached over 45°C (113°F). This week, temperatures have been in the 30s and it feels like autumn in comparison! The 'Southern Star Observation Wheel', our version (coughRIPOFFcoughcough) of the 'London Eye', buckled in the heat and is going to be U/S indefinitely. It's only been open since last month!
