CIGS: Long term storage
Re: CIGS: Long term storage
They're probably your best source for information on the topic as it would be along the same lines as long term cigar storage. Bear in mind that my reference was to humidity levels, not temperature. AC is a dehumidifier and would be the worse place to store any tobacco product as the environment would draw the moisture out of tobacco.

I always heard a slice of bread placed inside the box, would regulate the moisture to the cigars, so the tobacco would stay fresh. I don't believe there is a long term storage for cigarettes. They all get smoked in the field.

After the Chicken and the Egg, came the "Omelet"!

I stil think a professional cigar store owner input and a humidior would be the best thing for long term storage. Maybe f you can rig up smaller version of a humidor and try out several packs just to see where it might lead that would be an idea. I've heard that hard core cigar lovers have personal humidors that can withstand just about anything. But IDK??
