As is every American Soldier. That includes the cooks, signal, the water purification people, laundry, mortuary, etc. heck, even a Navy weatherman I know, was familiarized with M4 Carbine and M9 Pistol. :D
After the Chicken and the Egg, came the "Omelet"!
