Seeing as we have some serious Tabasco lovers here, has anyone tried the Chipotle version?
Smoked Jalapenos, milder than regular, but much tastier (IMHO)

I have also been home smoking red Jalapenos, (when I can find them) for 3 hours, then pop them into my dehydrator. Give them a spin in an electric coffee grinder (el cheapo) and Et Voilà! Chipotle powder... MMMMmmm
Chipotle just means 'smoked' in spanish/mayan

I think DD is a big fan of the chipotle tabasco, I find it so-so, nice for a change, but I'll probably never buy another bottle once the one I own is gone.. so another few years at least.

I've tried the Chipotle version. I think the flavor is excellent

, but it isn't hot enough

Ditto. Tastes great but lacks heat.

I like original Tabasco, for its flavour and as a go to condiment. Haven't tried the Chipotle, but the Habanero one is pretty good. Of course, it doesn't have anything on some of my other sauces.
