How I warm my MREs in the office

Hello guys,
First post here. I occasionally eat MREs at work as a quick go-to lunch when it's really busy and I want to stay at my desk. As well as when I didn't bring lunch from home and it's too cold to go out (like this winter in NY).
But, I can't use the FRH in my office (as the stink will bother my colleagues). So, what I do is warm my MRE on the electric heater in my office. It works quite well! In about 10min, the main meal is nice and hot.

Just have your co worker toss it in the microwave for you while you vacate said office!!
KIDDING!!! Please dont try this. I'm pretty sure one of the MRE stores had a demo on what would happen. I have heated mine in the coffee pot at a hotel. Just make coffee with out the coffee and your good to go.

A good idea too is puting them in hot water! If you have a jar or something like that you could do it, but the heaters is quite a solid option...

Awesome idea,lol...i've been using the FRH in my car since my office has forced air heater vents on the ceiling

There was a kit from i think german cavalry to heat retorts and you could plug it in the car socket... try searching for that in the forums, there was a thread about it, i think housil made it

Yeah, i'll take a look, thanks...Probably only works in BMW and Mercedes, ha.

I work in a ski repair shop, and I like to put packets on the wax heater if I do a MRE for lunch.
