The Nut Raisin Mix isn't supposed to have any salt on it really. It's just supposed to taste like regular roasted nuts and raisins.

I know salt content is a concern with the high sodium values in the MREs but the nuts need something IMO ro makes them more palatable i try to save the raisins to add to them but thoght someone else may have a favorite trick to eat them as the come in everyother MRE i open.

Buy a jumbo bag of salted and hulled sunflower seeds. Add as many as suits your taste, and seal the new mix in ziploc or (better) vacuum seal bags.
