Can I safely heat EPA mains in an FRH?
Just that I bought a type 2 EPA to try.

Most food packed like EPA here in Europe is recommended to be put in warm (not boiling) water for 10 minutes, and even that makes them just slightly warm. My advice would be boiling for a few min and then removing it from the open flame and let it sit in that water for 10min minimum. The older EPAs have similar dishes as the turkey dinner in the video, so heating up the food should not be a problem. Even though these MealSpec heaters seems like much stronger then the standard MRE FRHs.
