-Creamer (The treasure trove that is the Accessory Packet!)
-Sugar (Same with the creamer, usually
- Spiced Apples (I forget the menus these are present in)
-Oatmeal Cookie (Usually pretty easy to find as well.
What you do, is heat up your apples, open the package up longways, and then you take your Oatmeal cookie and you BEAT THE EVER LOVING TASTYNESS OUT OF IT until it's rendered into delicious oatmeal crumbs, and put them into the apples. Last few times I tried this, it was a tad bit... Bitter? a little tart? Eh, kinda. Throw in the Creamer and the sugar to kind of meat the stuff halfway, and eat to your liking!...
• One pack APPLE PIECES IN SPICED SAUCE (5.00 OZ or 142 grams) dated 1202 (July 21, 2011)
• One pouch OATMEAL COOKIE (2.00 OZ or 56 grams) dated 1189 (July 8, 2011)
• One envelope CREAMER, NON-DAIRY DRY (0,14 OZ or 4 grams) dated 4140 (May 19, 2004)
• The SUGAR I did not use!
Now the photos:
All ingredients at one glance, I did not use the recommended sugar
OATMEAL COOKIE "puzzle" out of pouch
OATMEAL COOKIE finely crumbled with/between the fingers
Heating the OATMEAL COOKIE and APPLE PIECES IN SPICED SAUCE in boiling water
Heated APPLE PIECES IN SPICED SAUCE out of pouch
Heated APPLE PIECES IN SPICED SAUCE out of pouch with CREAMER, NON-DAIRY DRY added
The CREAMER, NON-DAIRY DRY stirred in the APPLE PIECES IN SPICED SAUCE
Finely crumbled OATMEAL COOKIE stirred in the APPLE/CREAMER-mix with the good old white plastic ration spoon: The meal is ready!
Close-up of the MRE APPLE PIE
The MRE APPLE PIE tasted very good , but it is also very, very sweet . I ´m glad that I did not add extra sugar. About 430 calories!
