BEANWICH BOMBERS

Hi guys,
today I tested a recipe out of the UNOFFICIAL MRE RECIPE BOOKLET from TABASCO (second edition 2001?)
.
Here is the photo review:
The UNOFFICIAL MRE RECIPE BOOKLET from TABASCO (second edition 2001?):

Recipe BEANWICH BOMBERS:

Ingredients still in pouches/card board at one glance (Western Style Beans 2003, Wheat Snack Bread 2007, Cheese Spread 2009, Tabasco 2007):

Heating the pouch of Western Style Beans in boiling water:

The pure Wheat Snack Bread on the plate:

The Cheese Spread pouch with cut a little corner for “drizzling”:

White Snack Bread with Western Style Beans on top:

Finished BEANWICH BOMBERS after "drizzling" with Cheese Spread:

Finished BEANWICH BOMBERS close-up with melted Cheese Spread:

Now to the taste: It was ok, not bad, but not really great
. The “mixture” of the wheat bread and the beans is a little bit dry
. The pure Western Style Beans I like more than that recipe, but of course I would eat it again
.
