Hot Beverage Bag

Post by Name_not_found » Wed Aug 31, 2011 7:20 pm

The Hot Beverage Bag is a great invention
It has a good seal, is very tough, and you can put anything in it, even... hot beverages.

For travel put your toothpaste mouthwash and other spill-ables in one to prevent any problems.

Cut one short and use it as a liner in you car's cup holder for easy cleaning.

If stuck somewhere while traveling, inflate it 1/2 way and use it for a pillow to rest.

instant waterproof gloves if you happen to drop your keys somewhere unpleasing

I use them to store my meds and also I make small portable emergency survival packets with them. I always have one at my desk at work and an extra one with my gear on my truck.
Also you can use them to store your tinder ( matches, cottom balls etc...) and keep it dry if you go for a walk ot a nice hike.

to keep my telephone dry, and to keep spareparts for my G3
Sure, someone may one day kill me with my own gun.
But they'll have to beat me to death with it because it's empty.

A computer once beat me at chess, but it was no match for me at kick boxing.

I crush up some ramen, fill the bag about 30% with water. Some peanuts, a half spoon of peanut butter. Then into a frh. Adjust water amount to your liking.

In a survival situation, you can use it to collect water from trees. Being clear it is perfect for it, but sort of small.
I like the Canadian ones, (which I keep a supply of) as they are self standing. My only real criticism is (IMO) they should just have water volume graduations, and the individual items requiring water could tell you how much. However, I think they were envisioned as being single use only on the scale of a day. That is a major oversight on the part of the designers. They can be used to hold anything of an appropriate size you want to keep from getting wet. meds, knives, utensils, batteries, electronic devices whatever.
