Take the cocca beverage pouch, and put in the coffee, sugar, creamer, and enough cold water (the colder the better) to your perferred consistancy. I find about as thick as brownie batter is best. Add peanut butter if you like. Mix up well. Great energy wake up meal and fairly filling, awesome if you have to move out quick.

I will definitely have to try this out. My brother and I should be receiving a crate of 12 MREs soon. So it should be soon enough when I get to try it. Haha.

Yes and you can also smear it on what ever cake is packed the meal as a frosting.
One other bit of triva ,
American frontier cooks on 1870s cattle drives would dump left over brewed coffee into a mix of flour, salt, sugar
Then bake sections in a cast iron pot or on a cast iron sheet.
Coffee biscuts

better description coffee hard tack
Nothing was wasted, even old coffee was not thrown out, it was re-used

Good Lord, that sounds too good haha *fat guy senses tingling*
Oh cool. Thanks for sharing that tidbit. That's kinda cool to know that very little was wasted, and they could still at least make something decent out of it.

Thanks for a recipe. Although i would say you would be better posting this off to the tips and tricks boards of the forum. There are plenty of diy MRE recipes posted there

I really love this idea, and first heard about it from steve1989 on youtube. I think one of the things i love about this is, you may not use these items for dinner and supper one day, and save them to add to breakfast as a sorta breakfast dessert dessert /after breakfast dessert for a nice boost.
Now we just need to fill that 3rd coffee break between 2nd breakfast and 1st brunch!
