MRE Fortified Strawberry Smoothy

Post by jfko6 » Fri Oct 24, 2008 8:29 pm

I finally did it. I made a shake out of this large package of Fortified Strawberry drink. After I filled the blender and made this concoction nothing was wasted. It was neither too watery or too bland. I would say it came out just about right.

So here's the recipe.

1. Fortified flavored drink (MRE)
2. Orange Juice
3. 3 Cups of water
4. Ice
5. Oster Blender

Place ice in blender - 4-6 cubes
Add powder
Add about a cup of orange juice. (Banana, mango and pineapple can be added suited to taste)
Add about 3 cups of water but don't overfill blender
Use chop ice function on blender if you have it
Blend for about 30 seconds.

The whole content is good and can be shared. It provides that much extra flavor.

That sounds downright tasty!
You can pick your friends
and you can pick your nose
but you can't roll your friends into little green balls!
