Insolated lunch bag for heating MREs

Post by cat » Mon Aug 18, 2008 12:52 pm

Theepicenter.com sells a really cool insolated bag that can be used to heat just about anything using FRHs. This weekend while at Wal-Mart I picked up a nifty little insolated lunch bag with a zipper closure and thought I'd give it a try. It turns out be the be perfect size for a side dish, beverage bag and main meal + two heaters.

In just a matter of moments steam was poring out the zipper. After maybe 8 min. I opened up the bag to find everything was perfectly heated. I do believe that the insolated bag would have allowed me to heat everything with just a single FRH, I'll try that next time.

The insolated bags from theepicenter.com come with 24 FRHs and 24 HBBs, seems like a pretty good deal.
