Hot Sauce adds flavor and helps kill the germs in the meal.
There is no such thing as too much hot sauce..

It is your friend in questionable food country.

Have you ever tried the '16 Million Reserve'? :P

But yes, i'd have to agree that adding Tabasco to certain meals tastes pretty good.

Yes, sir - that's some pretty hot sauce! I'll bet it might even be a challenge for some of our Texas members! :-)

From the article about Blair's "16 Million Reserve" hot sauce:

If I could get a taste I would give it a go.
Better yet, put it into the food of someone I hated..
This would fix their wagon but good..

Steal my lunch again..I think not!

Heh, I wouldn't touch that stuff with a 10' pole, it'd probably catch fire! I use Dave's insanity sauce which is nothing but habanero pepper paste, that stuff is insane, but a drop will heat an entire pot of stew, so fear 16mil on the scoville!

hot sauce horror story!!!

Post by bishopmarine » Mon Dec 03, 2007 7:55 pm

okay my family was at dollywood at the beginning of this fall. they had a bluegrass and bbq festival. it was great. they had a stand set up with samples of various sauces. they had chips to dip in. we started on one end and the stuff got hotter as we went down the line. i love spicy food. so does my father. so of coursse we got right in the middle of it. there were warning signs as you get too the end. i know how hot some of these can be but i thought it would be made into a sauce to show how hot it can make salsa. i was wrong it was pure stuff right from the bottle. we were taking chips and getting heaping piles off this napalm crap on it and eating it. i guess the first couple killed all taste capability becuase we kept going. we got about two or three from the end. thats when it hit me. it was the worst burning i have ever fealt. i really thought i would have to go to the hospital. it was overwhelming. my dad fealt the same way. water made it worse. so we just suffered thru it. when i thought the worst was over. later that night i guess the stuff hit our intestines. along came the NEW worst burning i have ever experienced. my body was dripping with sweat and i thought i was dying. this went on for about an hour. when i had reached my breaking point. (by the way my wife and mom were about to call an ambulance no kidding) i went into the hotel bathroom and i gagged myself. i puked up pure fire. but it relieved the horrible pain in my midsection. my father ate maybe half as much of it as i did. so he was a lot better off. i probably have ulcers from this fiasco. and yes i do still eat hot sauce on damn near everything. by the way this was not an excageration if anything it was worse than it sounds. below are a few of the items that caused this. i cant remember them all but i recall these three.
