IMP Date Square

Absolutely my favorite Canadian dessert. The fruits are great, for what they are, which is NOT dessert. The fruit cocktail, well... meh. One of my first IMP's had the date square along with a vanilla drink, and I made a mental note then that if I ever got that combination again I would try something Gundoggish....
The second time I got that combination I totally forgot. Call it IMP psychosis. Oh, well.
Anyway, today I opened a 2018 Shepherd's Pie. Yum. So, I took the vanilla shake, added a little less water, and poured the resulting thick puddingish foam on top of the warmed date square.
Heaven.
Period.
