FRH Instructions>

Simple, just read the instructions, and follow them. Make sure to use a Rock, or something also, like the insructions say. The "something" can be almost anything. Use your imagination. People from West Virginia or Arkansas may have a problem with these instructions. Email me with any ?'S. :?

Good point, Kman also told me to knead up the chicken or meat into little pieces within the pouch before opening so that you don't have to cut the meat up while eating, another WHY DIDN'T I THINK OF THAT? scenarios for me.

C'mon now, let's not perpetuate stereotypes. Some of the dumbest Mfers I've ever met were from big cities, and to get even dumber usually requires several years of higher education and a degree, e.g. look at politicians.

The salt charge seems to help on close to date "flameless water heaters". Just add a pinch of salt when you add your water. I saw the tip on a stickyfingaz video. Some rations come with saltwater pouches for the heaters, so this makes sence. :D

best use cases for the German EPA crackers - the so called "Panzerplatten" (Armor plates)

1) make a cake without baking

You need 1 package "Panzerplatten" and for the Chocolate cream:
150 g couverture dark chocolate
450 g couverture whole milk
150 g of coconut oil
200 g of whipped cream
2 pck of vanillin sugar

a. preparation
To prepare:
Lay out the box shape with a large cut open freezer bag.

b. Chocolate cream:
  Chocolate cream:
Chop both couvertures roughly, cut coconut fat into small pieces, melt all together with the cream in a saucepan and stir well. Finally, stir in vanillin sugar. Lay out the box shape with a layer of butter biscuits, break the biscuits if necessary. Spread chocolate cream over the cookie layer so that it is covered. Alternately layer chocolate cream and biscuits into the box form (7-8 layers). Put the box in the fridge for about 5 hours (preferably over night) to make the cream firm.

2) Use it to make a smale fire in cold nights in your tent:

Brush the biscuits with shoe polish.

Shuffle the biscuits like a pyre.

Light the biscuits.

They shall burn some time and gives you some heat if you need it ;-)
Tried until now: German EPa (old version), US MRE
To Go: Case A USA, Package 1 UK, 2 French, modern German EPa
nice to have: Russian, Italy,Scandinavian and the new US MRE with pizza

Be carefull with the squirt of death, when opening a can of any sort or a tray like the ones in the Epa, specially if heated, if you by accident put pressure on the lid or if you have heated it too much it can squit like hell, and in the best case scenario, you will get tomato and oil stains all over your shirt...

That´s why we always opened the lid a litte so pressure can escape.
