Help IDing a ration?

Post by Cortexmelon » Sun Dec 16, 2018 2:11 pm

So I purchased this ration, looks like an old Russian or Ukrainian one, but it has 4 slots in it, while any images of older Ukrainian or Russian rations show only 3 slots.
Has anybody seen this one before, any help would be appreciated!

Old school Russian IRP. The “ИРП” on the box is an abreviation for Индивидуальный Рацион Питания. Which translates from Russian as Individual Meal Ration.

Thanks for the help, appreciate it! I don't get why this thing is so hard to find any info or pictures of the time frame for it, it's strange.

Got it in the mail last night, and wow. This thing is an absolute unit! Biggest ration I've had yet, by far.
