Just ate some of these today while working through a 2014 24-hour ration. These things are really tasty!
The guys on the left in the purple/pink package
Does anyone know if these can be purchased anywhere? Or if there is a civilian equivalent? Thanks.

it's been a while, but I think the Jammie Dodgers or McVities Fruit Digestives were the closest.

Any Brits on here will recognise these, we were brought up on Jammie Dodgers and "Dead Fly" biscuits.

They certainly were NOT the jam sandwich "Jammie Dodgers".
I hope the McVities 'Dead Fly" or "Fruit Shortcake" biscuits are close, because I have some of them on the way. I'll keep you all updated!

The picture in my first post above shows the purple/violet package of biscuits in a UK ration (left side of pic). They are just labeled "Biscuits - Fruit". My wife and I both thought they were pretty tasty, so I was hoping to find some commercial ones that are the same or similar. They are a flat, wheat biscuit that is slightly sweet with little bits of fruit (currants, I think).
I hope the McVities that I bought are similar to the ones from the ration.

The ones I pictured and had in my ration were not oat based. Wheat for sure.
I received the McVities Fruit Shortcake biscuits and they are somewhat similar, but they are not exactly like the ration "Biscuits - Fruit". Those had a little bit of a "spice" flavour to them. I like the McVities, but liked the ration biscuits better.

Dutch Fruit and Brown biscuits are exactly the same as the ORP versions... made by the same company
