Post by Dvalin » Mon Aug 06, 2018 10:28 am

Does anybody know if the British pasta salads are intended to be eaten hot or cold?

From my experience they can be eaten cold no problem, they are like the french RCIR salads

I do believe it states on the package to be eaten hot or cold, however to me they taste better hot.

Hot or cold, it doesn't matter at all. The british meals can all eaten hot or cold. So it' told in the instructions . I had one pasta salad a few week ago and i ate it hot. It tasted delicious...
Tried lots of foreign rations from Europe and Northern America. Want to try Asian and South American rations

As Eistee wrote, "salads" are intended to be eaten cold.

Yes, my dogs too will balk at vegetables with strong textures such as fresh green beans. When I eat them stare at me like I'm a stupid human for trying to eat such a unpalatable food.

Also, back on topic somewhat, being raised in the Twin Cities area, a pasta salad that is heated is called a Hot Dish. The main form of sustenance at social gatherings for the region and darn good eats.
