Post by carlosflar » Thu Jun 07, 2018 8:24 pm

so i saw this ration in a online store in spain, it was labeled as ''french ration'' but its not a RCIR... anyone knows what is this? (happens to be a UN ration given to peacekeepers) its sold at a pretty high price, anyone knows what it could be worth? i might try to haggle a bit for it if its worth it...

On the backside on the top seal is printed a BBD, its labeled as BBE (Best before end)
Get the seller to send you a pic of it, so you know how old it is

Do you know by chance if it's worth something?

I have a bit more info: these come from the spanish/French peacekeepers that went to Mali at the begining of this year I think, so these ration are probably pretty fresh, I talked with a army soldier who got them there, he has 8 of them...

They were in use now for more than 5 years now by UN personell, german soldiers that are on duty in Mali are also issued them every 2nd day or so, when the mess hall is closed
