Where Do you get Canadian IMPs in the U.S.?

Post by crunchie » Mon Jun 04, 2018 3:11 pm

Hi all,

To folks in the U.S. who have tried the Candian IMPs, where do you get them stateside or did you order them direct from somewhere in Canada?

Any particular menus you recommend to try or avoid?

Thanks!

I buy them from Canada. They have so many different menus, most are very tasty.

I get them from people here in the forums who have access to them.

As far as ones to avoid, I can't think of any that I've had that I really hated. It mainly just comes down to personal preference. I avoid the seafood ones, but that's just because I don't do seafood. Every IMP that I've had has been very good, with the "smoked meat" one probably being my favorite. :)

Very cool. Wish I had the money to try a bunch of those on the site. Just the shipping alone to where I live is absurdly expensive! Last time my mother sent me a small box (as in about the size of a shoe box) of stuff for some holiday it was $70.

check for shipping online, there are some companies that offer discounted shipping online and you can find pretty heavy discounts... i use a company that does this and you en up getting arround 30-40% discount on international shippings with companies like UPS or SEUR.. but only operates in spain sadly.... try to search online for one that operates in japan or USA and you might be able to get a cheap shipping
I have Spanish rations permanently, feel free to ask :!:

For shipping you should look into e-packets
They are basically a letter and you can ship up to 2kg for a great price (17€ over here)
That might be the best option for you, you can probably fit 2-3 IMPs in one epacket before it gets too heavy.

I dont' really "sell" them but if I had time and money I'd send some out also have lots of extras like about 50 of the beverage bags a number of the napkins, condiemnts, coffee, fruit drinks, etc. I'd say I'm more of a stockpiler and documenter of Canadian IMP's, not a seller. If I was a seller, I'd have like 50 boxes, but I have closer to 50 individual IMP's currently
