I've eaten a bunch of British rat-packs over past couple years, thanks to Foreignmre and other suppliers. I agree with Rahzmataz on these. Maybe good for last resort emergency food kit only. The British Army should coat their grenades with this stuff for extra fragmentation effect.
After the Chicken and the Egg, came the "Omelet"!

Morning chaps,
I had a sesame seed bar in an ORP packed 07 17 so they are still going.
Happened to have read this so was pre-warned so I got the unopened pack and hit it hard side-on with a brass paperweight
This split off one of the three and I then could snap it into 1 inch-ish bits and treat those like boiled sweets - no chewing. The hard
sugar melted in the mouth pretty quick and this left the sesame seeds which I happen to like the taste of so overall was happy with the experience
Cheers,
Mack

The same snack is commonly sold in American stores but they are much smaller, say 2 inches by 3 inches, and they aren't all stuck hard together. They are just honey syrup and sesame seed, which I noticed is a common snack quite a few countries. It's a very old traditional confection. Here they also come in a chocolate striped version. Yes, they all stick in the teeth. If too old, the oil in the sesame seeds can go rancid making for a very unpleasant taste.
