Hey everyone, I was wondering if anyone could help me ID this ration?

I understand it is a civilian ration used for preparedness of various disasters? Of course it is Norwegian - but now to confirm it's scope of purpose and if it is actually civilian.

Any help or input would be fantastic! I am trying to collab some info on this one with limited results.

Thanks so much!

Also found the contents of this pack on an norwegian museum-website:

Description:
A small compact package that contains necessary equipment to survive on disasters occurred.

There is a small tin box with a covering cardboard inside the paperback, where you can see a tin box on the top of a lift on the lid. Underneath it is a small paper bag with some filler material that isolates the bag. The user name under the cardboard box indicates that one can use the outer tin box as a small oven where the sealed tin box can be used as a bowl to cook the food.

Inscription: CATEGORY BUSINESS 1955 Norman's Model with Cooking Equipment and Fuel JOH. LEARN & CO. Laksevåg - Bergen 855
Inscription: KOKEBOKS Read the instructions on the cardboard box before opening the box. The box contains matches - biscuits - whey powder - sugar - coffee - toilet paper - treskje
Inscription: The bag contains: Box openers - Cake blocks Cake drip and Suppeblokker Take care of the bag and beech it to store food that is not eaten immediately.

That is a fantastic lead on where to start, thank you Eistee!

This is a very nice example of that ration. Very curious to see how it has held up in the last 59 years or so.

After some more research I will then check it out - and will report back.

*Edit after re-reading your post. It has whey powder as a component. Very interesting - something like that has to be stale by now.
Looks very similar to the later SP-63 by the same company.

it is a civilian ration for emergency use-red cross, civilian help army, pre storage in bunkers, boats etc

but its the big old brother for the sp63-sp69 ration that was adopted for the Norwegian army :D
