Turkish Rations??
Turkish Rations??
Turkey being a NATO member, has anyone ever seen what the Turkish army give its troops as field rations?
I just checked my "stash" of rations pics and info but I don't have anything on Turkey. A quick check of google for "turkish army rations" also didn't turn up much.
You know you're in trouble when you search for "turkish army rations" and one of the few hits you turn up is this mreinfo.com thread asking for info on turkish army rations.

first of all, for turkey beein a NATO member, they should start giving back occupied country to the ppl of kurdistan before they even think about makin their own rations with NATO codes on them...
second thing is a story from a friend who had grown up in the area as a young boy - about 10-15 yrs ago. he told me this story, when he was out in the woods with their sheeps and goats, there were soliders havin single cans with meat inside, big cans with a size of about 5 liters or even more... he said he was collectin the empty cans and bring them home to his family, they cleaned them up and used them for makin their own cheese from the goats milk...

Especially since the kurdic party "PKK" became an official "terroristic association" in USA and EU...
