I never had ostrich before. Even though I don't eat poultry I wanted to try it so I did. It's like beef and in a way slightly like tuna, Damir and Biso who made the review agreed on beef part, but with tuna connection I was alone. Real macho radical-non-vegetarian kind of meat.
Aftertaste is poultrish and again I was only one to taste the poultry after few minutes. Maybe because I don't eat it and I could taste it's a bird indeed.

Yeah I've eaten roasted ostrich tenderloin several times and it looks almost identical to beef tenderloin and has nearly the same texture. It's also interesting in that it's PH level helps it be almost completely resistant to e coli and salmonella.
