New Polish S-R rations

Post by Delicious » Fri May 26, 2017 1:05 pm

I found a new specification of Polish single meal S-R rations from 2015. The number of menus is increased from 9 to 21. Actually the first 9 are unchanged (the entrees) - only these are now available on the market, but you can already buy separately the items from new menus.

What is inside beside accessories, fruit bar and candies:

• new meat side dishes (haven't tried yet, don't know the difference)
"lisiecka",
"English luncheon meat"
pork belly luncheon meat,
"pork special" ,
pork ham with poultry,
new poultry cans e.g. in vinaigrette (!)

` • new entrees 300g:
beans with beef,
chicken fillet in cheese sauce,
beef stew with vegetables,
poultry stew,
meat with buckwheat,
pasta with sausage in tomato sauce,
chicken curry with rice and vegetables,
pork in horseradish sauce,
chicken in sweet-sour sauce
leczo with sausage (bell pepper/tomato stew) - a Hungarian dish lecso
"łazanki" pasta with sausage and cabbage - traditional Polish dish

• Fish cans (side dish):
herring in oil,
mackerel in tomato,
sprats (small sardines) smoked in oil

• jam: blackcurrant, strawberry, raspberry, sour cherry, blueberry, plum "povidlo" (thick, in russian type), honey
• instant tea: lemon, raspberry, forest fruits, lime with green tea extract
Have access to: Polish, French, UK, US, sometimes other.

Wow I can't wait to track down some of the new rations in the future when they become available!

Nice! What about the panzer crackers aka rambo keksy? They could make them a bit less panzer :-)

The panzer waffles remain. I haven't tried these fresh rations, maybe the new generation of soldiers has weaker teeth ;)

Wow.
Those look really really tasty.
And a broad spread of different dishes as well.
Can't wait to see the 'English' luncheon meat.

Great news, even more menues for best rations ever... pork in horseradish sauce - you are turning a little French with meals like this are you?

Biggest question is what mains and sides you got in that box of yours? Please say you have some meals I quoted from you - beans with beef could be like a stew or like a chilli kind of meal... pork belly luncheon meat also sounds yumm bacon flavours everywhere.

Only bad thing they handicapped FHR from hell... fortunately I have one left of the originals in my rucksack.

That pork in horseradish sauce sounds awesome, I'd love to try that one. So far to the polish rations have the best tasting dishes and definitely my favorite for their mains. Tonight me and my sons plan on splitting a srg1 for dinner.
