Hi Garron,

in a 2004 type III are hamburger pattys in tomato sauce and vegetarian chilli.
The type III is without pork.

At german ebay you have to pay 5 to 8 euro for one epa.

Danke jubifahrer

It sounds quite nice, £12 is about 15-17 Euro

On ebay.co.uk EPA's are a rare thing, only 1 or 2 are listed, same for MRE.

It is the same for me, British 24-hours packs are common and sell for £3-10.(depends on the age and menu)

is shipment so expensive from germany ? why do you not buy some epas on german ebay ?

best regards

jubifahrer

EDIT:

i take a look online. shipment for two or three EPA will kost 13,90 euro to GB.

so if you by 3 epas for maybe 20 euro an add the shipment of 14 euro, you will pay 34 euro. that will bee £23 , means 8 for each one ;)

Hello Garron
Im over the border in England, you want to know your EPA so here goes.
Hamburger mit tomaten is beef patties in sauce.
The other main meal is a vegetarian stir-fry with tofu-nicer than it sounds.
The small packets are two beef sausage type spreads one with pistachios,
the kase mit grunpeffer is cheese spread with green peppers-nice and spicy like American cheese with jalapeno spread. (My fav)
You also get a couple of jams various flavours.
Right hartkeks? these are like biscuits, digestives but harder.
The can of brot is bread-rye bread German style-I love this stuff, goes great with beer very good for you. Volkenbrot I belive the German name is.
You got various other bits including coffee(quite decent), instant tea(not my cup of) and powdered fruit drinks-full of vits-good for hangovers.
Much of the German stuff is quite good quality, maybe not to Brit tastes but good nevertheless.
Enjoy your EPA Garron I've ate a few myself.
BTW has anyone had a Spanish Racion?

To be honest jubifahrer I had never really thought of buying EPA from ebay.de, and I thank you for puting the idea to me, seems like the best way to get them.

The guy i bought it from is a UK solider stationed in Germany, so hes made a profit from it, (as hes a serving solider I don't mind)

Hi Enchilada,

Seems like both of our luck was out with the rugby yesterday

it sounds quite nice, the tofu mayby not too my taste but I will give it a try.

I am quite used to german food stuff, as my mother lived there whilst my grandfather was in the army (1960's and 70's) so i grew up around it, on my visit to germany last year to see family it was the same, I quite like german food.

I don't think the Germans drink much tea,

The MRE cheese and jalapeno was great so I am looking forward to this

I don't doubt german quality at all.

Thanks

Doesn't it really say Something american-style vegetable chili ? Or does the Suda part mean ohne or something similar? I'm being lazy and not babelfishing it.
