Nice photos. Would you be willing to lay out the menus so hopefully the admins can update the page for the Dutch ration packs? Many of the information pages are out of date with respect to menus and menu items.

I'll be working on a full updated contents list for the French RCIRs with what menu #s I have on hand.

Thanks for the idea, but no need for, I have this ration by myself and we are still working on the update.

I got an extremely similar one to this last Monday, but it doesn't come with the entrees. The contents slip is legit and doesn't list them, seemingly they make up the calories with more biscuits, chocolate and pate.

It makes me wonder how popular they must be amongst the Dutch soldiers. It must be irritating to live on what is essentially snack food for 12 hours.

The Dutch ration packs are a little bit different as each pack consists of sub modules. There is the "basis module" which is breakfast + lunck. But really it's breakfast like museli and a bunch of snacks + sundries.

Then there is the "Meal module" which has a separate slip. This module contains 2 additional entrees in cans or pouches to make up the rest of the 24 hour ration. I don't know why they do it this way but I've seen both, and they come in separate cases. Somehow, possibly in the field, the meal module is inserted in with the "basis module".
