This one shares many of the same contents compared to government/military issued IRPs, the box is similar in comparison to the prison guard IRP but the camouflage packaging and handle makes me think it might be commercial.
The second one is most certainly commercial, however I am curious to know more about it. It's box appears to be a bit larger than other IRPs and it's contents are labelled. I can't seem to find any pictures of the contents of this IRP nor the info of the company that produces it. ebay vendor says the company is "VIP Products".

Good question! In the Ebay description this ration is called a "Individual Food Allowance (IFA) option 1." I have never seen one of these before though and have no clue what branch of Military/ civilian sector use this..

Both of them are commercial rations. You can easily tell by looking at the label, if it does not mention any government agency, then it has to be the commercial one.

Label on the first one says Individual serving of food (ISF), variant 2
Second one looks similar to new Russian ration for pilots, but only because the box itself in this camouflage.
Both could be commercial rations made for hunters, fishing trips, hikers etc.

Wow, it looks like they share the same box. However, the labels are different.
Do you have any more info on the pilot's ration? I tried researching for it but found nothing.
Recently, blackdogbob found someone with a "Bosnian ration" which turned out to be a Russian Helicopter pilot's ration.
Also in this, SNiiP3R posted a Russian review a russian aviation ration, which is different than the one you have shown. Probably an older ration, as prado67 pointed out. https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_cont ... wKaFwD5L0M

Not just helicopter crew, airplane and helicopter both.
This ration in the video from Molchun, there is one almost the same box and the label but with additional symbols on the label not just helo and the plane but also a submarine and a parachutist and they call it I think GRU (spetznaz) ration.
But so you can understand better the difference
SNiP3R review you posted: price 5$
Link from Molchun you posted: price 7$
GRU (or whatever it is) I mentioned: price 9.5$
Camo "new pilot ration" I mentioned could be maybe: 7$ (but I don't know maybe it's just test version of the future pilot ration)

The first one photo (from FREMONT) is the commercial product. It doesn't correspond to any standards and is the worst and poor likeness of IRP I ever knew. I do not recommend for anyone to buy it.
Ration pack for aircraft and helicopters crew is quite another thing. It satisfies norms set up by MOD, but has a very small difference with Standard Army IRP (the difference is in dairy products). But the one shown on the photo is made by the doubtful producer.
Here are some photo (I'm sorry, it's too difficult to find them, producer - "Oboronprodkomplekt" - legendary!

Wow, thanks for the info! The one in the Youtube video you linked to actually looks good, it looks like it contains PLENTY of food at least enough for 24 hours. I also find it funny that there are two juice boxes in there too -> kind of reminds me of the old school food packet in flight, that contained a can of juice, a very bad idea might I add (where concerned with longevity / shelf life).
