Help identify.

Post by Spot87 » Mon Oct 03, 2016 10:58 pm

Hey guys and girls and anyone inbetween,

So I'm currently working at a military museum in Australia and I spotted a rather old (seems to be) ration from WW2. Is there anybody here able to help me identify what it might contain?

Cheers

That large brown items may be a semi-sweet chcocalte bar, or another compressed food bar that's darkened over time. I'm not certain, it doesn't look like any of the others I've seen from the era and I'd be interested to see what all of the smaller packets end up being. Keep us in the loop if you're able to learn more or if the museum would let you carefully open it to look over the contents and take photos.

We are going to need more info to help you on this one, can you please type, or take a pic of anything legible that is written/ printed on the ration? The more info we have the better the chance our answer will be correct.
