Sources of international rations?

Greetings! This is my first post. I'll navigate the forms and learn my way around in time.

First off I heard about this place via watching a number of videos on youtube such as Steve1989 and GSchultz. It looked like a lot of fun so I decided to start doing some videos with my daughters on their channel recently, we began with dehydrated foods that we had on hand in our emergency supply stash. Last week I picked up an MRE and we did our first real MRE video, the girls had a blast and so I ordered a case of mil. surplus MRE's off amazon and the girls are eagerly awaiting that shipment to come in.

I would really like to do some foreign rations too, I had a look on ebay and found Chinese ones right away and they didn't seem too expensive, that is until I saw the shipping was over fifty dollars!

I'm curious if any of you could recommend places where I could get some interesting rations, hopefully without spending an arm and a leg in the process? ;)
I'm not asking for anything for free, just if anybody knows good sources or sellers for these curiosities.

If that's simply "the way it is" and there aren't any real good options then I'll suck it up and pay the piper. But I thought I would start by asking here first.

A lot of guys here have a lot of rations.
I can buy something for you and send, but if you are from USA you have to consider high shipping costs and delivery time

Welcome to forums and to the group! A lot of us got started by just becoming active here in the forums. There are a lot of great people here who would likely be glad to help you get started, especially when people see you taking an interest, commenting on reviews here, etc. Ebay is another great source of rations, though anytime you are buying from overseas, the shipping can be hefty. Unfortunately, there really isn't any way around this. You can find Chinese, Russian, Spanish, French, German, etc. on eBay. A good source of French, British, Dutch, and Polish rations is Surplus and Outdoors in the UK. They ship to the US. Shipping can be expensive, but they're fast.

Their website is: http://www.surplusandoutdoors.com/

As for Russian rations, "onepamop" here in the forums is a great source of them. He's great to deal with, and has a very good reputation here. You can send him a PM if interested.

Hope this helps, and welcome to this crazy hobby that we all share! :)

Thank you this is exactly what I am looking for, someone like this who can consolidate rations in a single shipment. The ebay quote was something in the neighborhood of $50 for a single $13 MRE from China. Maybe that is normal but it just seemed like a lot as I have ordered non-food items from there and the postage was more reasonable.

Yes, that does seem a bit excessive. Usually when I've seen PLA rations on eBay they have been $10-$15 apiece, and about the same for shipping. The $50 for shipping from China seems pretty high, especially since the PLA rations are smaller and lighter than many other rations.

How expensive is shipping? I was thinking about ordering from them but they don't list how much the shipping is.

The last order was for one French RCIR and two British 24-hour ration packs, and the shipping came to $62 to the US via Parcel Force. It arrived in about one week.
