Hi,
I've got a British "bacon & beans" entree bag marked:
A.L. 8321 09:34
Does it mean it was made on the 321st day of 1998?

I've allready had a "hamburger & beans" pack of 1998 that tasted ok.
I'm still alive but I hesitate to try my luck one more time

My mother in law maybe...

Update...
I had this entree for breakfast: t'was OK: no strange smell, no strange taste, the beans are a bit pasty and the bacon is not as crisp as like it but with one egg, some toasts and an orange juice it's a perfect way to start a Sunday morning 8)

Hello,
BTW, I've got also two type 'E' British rations and I've seen 'E' boxes contain a 'Lancashire hotpot' entree.

Hmmm... is it really a lamb kidney stew :? ?

(you see how much I like kidneys  )
