well, not really - but hey, same neat retort packaging and nice way to add some variety to the survival stash on the cheap.
found this at the local gas/snack/curry shack...
different meals can be had for about $1.49 - $1.79... one of the brands is offering buy 2 get the 3rd for free, effectively lowering the price to around $1 per meal.
i recommend getting a rice dish to go with whatever main entree you pick. the Aloo type dishes have a nice spicy kick to them... i advise staying away from the coconut dishes - icky aftertaste.

Just had a couple of those for dinner the other night. The sell them at HEB down South, I'm in Texas. Decent variety, some are much better than the others though, but that's pretty standard with Indian food. The Palak Paneer is good, and the Dal Markhani (sp) is great, the rest just edible so far.

Yeah, HEB is only in TX and LA. Too bad too, it's actually a great place.

i am on VA.
effectively within the blast radius of a nuke strike on the pentagon - so i don't know why i even bother with mres and such.
but - i luv'em!
anyway - was buying spices which are very cheap at the indian grocery - saw these meals and figgered what the hey - give'm a try.
to my surprise, some of them were pretty darn good. so i added some to the survival stash.
i also have several 25# bags of rice, several cases of h20 in bottles and jugs and backup katydyn water filters.
aside from beef jerkey, i am looking for some good pouched or canned meat.

Don't know which brand you found as your images are no longer displaying, but here's a couple more resources that I've found for commercially packaged retort items.
Tasty Bite brand has a number of different Indian produced items that can be found at
Whole Food markets. They also have complete packaged meal items with two retort packages consisting of a 7oz entree and a 5oz pouch of Basmati rice ($2.99). Don't know if these will fit well into a FRH though as they are wider than the US MRE entree pouches (will give it a try one day.)
Trader Joe's also carries a number of Tasty Bite items under their own packaging at a slightly lower cost ($1.99). Additionally, Trader Joe's also has 3 varieties of Tuna Curry dishes ($1.39) in 7oz pouches imported from Thailand that fit easily into an FRH; the box is very similar to an MRE entree box in dimensions.
Something else that I've found in Asian markets, like
Ranch 99 have been retort packages of rice dishes imported from Taiwan by
Walong Marketing of Buena Park CA
