Now, if only the US would add some foreign items to the MRE's.
I for one would like the Japanese rice added, plus some flavoring.
UK biscuits brown and fruit would be a nice change.
Pates too.
Chocolate bars.
Salt and Pepper!!!

That was very interesting. I was puzzled about Japan's reluctance to switch. They have had very high quality civilian foil pouch rice and noodle meals for years.
I would think think they would be one of the leaders in the field
