Canadian IMP Lineup, 2016 Run

According to public bid documents here (PDF via dropbox.com), here's what'll be the entrees for the next round of IMP's being packed early in 2016:
  • Menu 1: Beans & Weiners
  • Menu 2: Scalloped Potatoes & Ham
  • Menu 3: Hash Browns & Bacon
  • Menu 4: Sausage & Hash Browns
  • Menu 5: Breakfast Patties
  • Menu 6: Baked Beans
  • Menu 7: Breakfast Patties
  • Menu 8: Chinese Style Beef Macaroni
  • Menu 9: Chicken & Vegetable Stew
  • Menu 10: Smoked Meat with Demi-Glace Sauce
  • Menu 11: Chicken & Sausage Jambalaya
  • Menu 12: Pulled Pork
  • Menu 13: Hamburger
  • Menu 14: Lasagna
  • Menu 15: Poutine (more on "poutine in a pouch" here)
  • Menu 16: Turkey Strips with Orange Sauce
  • Menu 17: Lamb & Vegetable Stew
  • Menu 18: Shepherd's Pie
  • Menu 19: Salmon
  • Menu 20: Meatballs with Gravy
  • Menu 21: Pasta Stuffed with Ricotta

These seem like great choices.. The pie I would really like to try :D
Also great breakfast menus..

18: Shepherd's Pie

Menu 2: Scalloped Potatoes & Ham

The Poutine, I am sorry, but I cant even imagine what that would look like after a year or so in its packaging, that just looks sick...

I also wonder if the pouched rations are still mostly made by "The Wornick Company" right here in the USA?

I know, not palatable to all. It's just our hardier Canadian genes ;P But if stored right it will look the same 5 or 6 or more years later.
