Sometimes we have respond to "MCIs" (mass casualties incidents). These takes usually longer so we have to get supplied with food. Until now, we got it from mobile kitchen trailers with stews, soups etc.

Now there is the first German company, that offers miliaty ration items also for EMS rations. Nothing new, just known parts. But if you call it "Medical" you can rocket the price...

Cool link housil! :D I'm curious, for those in German EMS who may have diabetes or type 2 diabetes, are there special menu items that they can eat?

It´s like in the Army, with (any) type of diabetes, you are unable for EMS duty. We get examined every three years.

Very true Housil. When I was a volunteer FF. I used to go to the yearly local fire/rescue convention. I remember seeing a multi-tool going for right at 30 US$. Saw a multi-tool in Walmart the following week. I swear it was the same thing. Only this one was going for about 10-15 US$.

Specialty market, specialty price. Doesn't matter what the product is, if there are buyers who are willing to pay more for them from a vendor who caters towards your industry, they will be profitable.
