Okay, everything looks fine...

The 2 packs of crackers gave it away already

And the main course
Well, that's the last time I'm buying rations without knowing the age of them.

Any thoughts? I'm guessing it's still edible seeing housil's experiences with them.

Yeah, mine looked like that too before I opened it, everything was in mint condition. The small cans are the same, one bulging and the other one not.

The Risotto seems to have formed a block that can move around in the tin tho.

Sheet with margarine, ration included it too:

Wow - 21 years...

That one you mentioned when I eat it was 19 years old and still great in taste.
I would give it a very carefully try if it smells OK, is not bulged etc...

The "armour sheets" (crackers  ) semms as they still have their vacuum so they should be still good - otherwise they get rancid. I guess the margerine is spoiled for sure due to their fat.

These square shaped ones with 2 x crackers were in use up to 1999

I'm probably going to try everything, except the Risotto if it really turned into a block with air in the tin.

At least boil it for a few min and see if the risotto "relaxes", i have eaten many packaged rices that seem solid until heated

Cant wait for the tasting pics!

Armour sheets are fine. I'll try the rest tomorrow.

"I'll try the rest tomorrow," he said...five months ago.

Did we miss the obituary, or what? Funny but scary, too.
