Canada seeks beef jerky for IMP 2014

Another posting to Canada's government tender page, this time for more than 390,000 packs of beef jerky for an "IMP 2014" (posting also available here via Google Docs if previous link doesn't work). Details on the selection process and some specs are available here (via Google Docs).

There were bids sought about a year ago for about 25,000 "LIGHT MEAL COMBAT PACKS (LMC) 2013" containing beef jerky, pepperoni & dried fruit (more details on contents in bid document extract here). That contract went for a little over $190,000 Canadian (a bit more on who won that bid here). This new bid, however, looks like a search for jerky to include in what appears to be the next iteration of Individual Meal Packs (IMPs) - I'll keep hunting for info on this IMP 2014, and will share if/when I find it.
