Rations legality

Post by rationtin440 » Fri Jan 27, 2012 12:00 am

My apologies if this has already been covered, and I'm not sure if this is the right topic for this, but I'm curious as to which countries have the strictest laws regarding civilians having military rations and which countries are the most "laid back" on this issue. I've noticed that many of the international rations have components that can be bought at grocery stores in their respective countries, and even here in the states, many of the freeze-dried components of some of our rations are made by companies that sell identical items to camping stores just in different packaging. Any in-put is appreciated, thanks!
