You have a great collection, Rudi! It's too bad we're stuck in north america where all the european rations are so much harder to come by. But what is the ration in the top center?

I still can't believe that some nation still packs dextrose tablets into field rations! My granddad used to talk about those in WW2!

I meant that dextrose tablets seem(ed) to have gone the way of cigarettes in rations!

They're Vitamin C tablets, supposed to make your body retain more water (in other words, so you drink less water).
They used to be labelled as "thirst suppressant tablets".
