The components look very similar to the Polish rations I have, might even be the same supplier?

I imagine scurvy is unknown in the Czech army

That is a serious allocation of vitamin tabs.

I`m using them (I`m from Czech republic) so I can tell you something about this ration.

BDP – Bojová dávka potravin (Battle meal ration) exists in two versions, I and II. Different is in “main meal” only. It`s meal for one man for one day.

List of components:

BDP I – Znojmo pot roast with rice 300g
- Potato goulash 300g

BDP II - Spicy risotto 300g – My favourite :)
- Pork meat with carrots 300g

Other stuff is the same in both versions:

- Pate with cheese 75g (or 2x processed cheese in older versions)
- Lunch meat 125g (100g in older version)
- Salty crackers 125g
- Sweet crackers 125g
- Bitter chocolate bar 50g
- 3x Jam 20g – Strawberry or peach
- 2x Instant coffee
- 2x Black tea
- 8x Sugar
- 2x Salt
- 4x Chewing gum (menthol in the new version, tasting like “clear pouch” MRE gum, fruit and herbs flavour in older version – something like red MRE gum)
- Instant fruit beverage (1 liter of beverage)
- Multivitamin tabs 24 pcs – Directions for use: max 1 piece per day :D I don`t understand…
- 3x Moist towelette
- 4x Paper towelette
- PE bag
- Instructions for use

Main meal and cans are made by Hamé Babice (CZ), most of other stuff is made or more likely provided by MEDI – AP spol. s.r.o.

Welcome to forums Ptak :D

We are happy about every member from other countries than can report about foreign rations and give us hands into translation

I´m surprisied to read the German word "Hartkeks" at the German EPa look alike crackers. Also the entrees looks similar to EPa entrees containers.

If I remember right, we had them at eBay Germany a while ago...

Yes yes, i think that czech BDP is in fact something like copy of EPA, it`s very similar. But I never had EPa, so I can`t compare the taste.

One small note - you call hartkeks balistic sheet, we call them "tiles". I`m not sure if this is correct translation :D I mean square things on the wall in bathroom :D
