Hello all,
I just spoke to UK customs, and they told me that importing anything containing meat from outside the EU is not allowed. Has anyone else had this problem and found a solution to it?
I was thinking that simply saying the goods were 'camping supplies' or something might help them to slip through the net, but I would risk losing the entire shipment if customs are vigilant.
Any advice is appreciated, thanks!

Actually everyone...

Importing prohibited items like (any) meet, dairy, eggs, chees, fish (more than 1kg)... is like playing lotto. You could win, but you will mostly loose.
My 2 cases of MRE were completly rejected to USA for 19g of cheese spread

My Canadian IMPs were "raped" by customes:

You have to send an European Form to the customs to declare the shipment in advance, written from the sendern declaring everything he is sending...

Customs are pretty strickt, they x-ray every parcel and if necessary, open them to check the contains.Big_jo wrote: I was thinking that simply saying the goods were 'camping supplies' or something might help them to slip through the net, but I would risk losing the entire shipment if customs are vigilant.
No risk no fun. Give it a try but don´t complain if you loose all your stuff!Big_jo wrote: Any advice is appreciated, thanks!
