old french and german ration

got this 2 coldwar era rations today:

everything is just perfect shape,no leaks or bulging
safe to eat? housil? made in 1989

next:

not so perfect shape,salt packet have melted,thuna can migth leake or it
came from the bon bons packet that have melted a bit.
this expired in 1992 so i gues its made 3 years back?

btw anyone interested in those for collection? can trade in edible rations from same nations.

Should be fine Norge, same as a 24 year old MRE meal :shock: You know the drill on eating old rations.. just take it slowly and make sure everthings ok. Knowing Germany it will probably be ok for a lot longer. :D

The biscuits are the same as now.... might explain why they are so hard, they are still using cold war stocks of them. :lol:
