From the auction:
"...
This is a unique collectors item, Very hard to get"
Hehe, the only "hard to get" is the box. Every thing else is "ordenary" supermarket stuff.
But thx for sharing!!!!! I would take it, bot not for an arm and leg!

come on, that's the price for a soup and a glass of water in a French restaurant but in UK or the USA
In Paris, in a good French
clean bistro you can find a
real meal (not the "
queue de langoustine à l'oseille avec son petit coulis de framboise et ses macarons d'avocat flambés à l'armagnac et aux trois poivres") , I mean a full plate of "boeuf bourguignon" stew with a lot of good fries, a "choucroute" (as you know Sauerkraut IS French

) a "cassoulet" (SW France style baked beans w. bacon, sausages)...
Leave the rest to the snobbish tourists
Anyway, it can be valuable for a true collector but if I want a can of spam, one of (Green Giant?) corn, some tuna and gherkins I go to the nearest supermaket and I have all that for, say, 10 bucks, maximum.

When i was in France back in 89' the only expensive food I saw was McDonald's and Coke.
Water was free and wine was cheap.....
But you can get the "plat d'jour" ,excuse mon francais...lol for affordable prices. Good food with wine included...yummmmmm!!
Peace!
