Hi peeps
just sold some british rations this evening

and the buyer was saying the newer british ration packs have no way of dating them on them ??
i can`t see how this would work, must be some code/something just for the roation of stock
but

anyone else heard this one ?????

News to me

Recently I'he got a few such packs of rations without any insignia on the boxes.
But all of the stuff inside were dated by 2004 year.

I don't think thats right, I've got and had a few 07 and 08 packs with dates, He might mean the new multi-climate packs but with thier shorter shelf life I think is a date is more important than on the 24 Hour packs.

Did he open the boxes yet?
Some countries do not date the boxes (de german EPa for example) but show the date on the products.
Might be the same in your case, like dimida already said.

German EPa cases are dated, so the single box don´t has to be. You are right the single products inside are labled again. So no need for the box.

The British ration on the right are from the nineties.
The cases are dated in stead of the individual ration boxes. I can take some pics if desired but that will this weekend.
