Hi folks,

today I got a some cans of bread who are from German EPA I bought at eBay with the post.
So far nothing special but inside of the box where a can of Corned Beef I never saw during my whole life.

It is a can with the Headline "Corned Beef mit Gelee" (with jelly). It has a weight of 100g and the can is of aluminium.
The producer is Herta GmbH who is very popular for meet products in Germany.

There is a Date where the can was made (2003) written on the top but no date of expiration and there are no colourful pic's printed on it so it was definitely made for military purpose.
I have a lot EPA's from 2003 so I know that it was definitely not an EPA.

So dose someone have an idea for what they are made for?

I never saw some Bundeswehr corned beef before :D

You are right, this cans are non EPa items for sure.
Early 100g tins were squared shaped gold foil trays.
Current round ones are 50 g only.

But I have also some non EPa genuine Bundeswehr cans:

That´s it!
A missing MHD (expiring date) is not an evidance for genuine BUndeswehr stuff.
Some EPa leicht items have an expiring date too
