Crazy Prices for a ration
Re: Crazy Prices for a ration
When GBP is still equal (or similar) to €, 15 seems OK to me for a 24hrs, freeze dried rar ration.Garron wrote:On Ebay.co.uk

Re: Crazy Prices for a ration
Yeah as its a 24 pack that price isn't that bad, I suppose theres a novelty on them as its not British. The last one Norwegian pack sold for I think £8 and the one before that was about the same price.
The most expensive on ebay.co.uk are MRE's they can sell for £10 each sometimes, and most are about 4 years or more old. (I picked up a 2007 Menu 11 Vegetable Manicotti for £4 plus P+P as it was mis-listed and in the wrong catagory
Lucky I noticed the familiar tan bag in the photo)
British packs are getting more expensive too.... a surplus store I stoped at in Cardiff had them for £9.... they were 2002 dated too.

Garron, I hope i'm not telling you something you don't already know but.....
http://www.genuinearmysurplus.co.uk/pag ... /rowid=419
These people charge £5.95 for delivery for the first 10 rat packs, thats 5.95 for all 10 not 5.95 for each of the 10.
They arn't always in stock but you can, if you phone them, ask for a mix of menu's.

Re: Crazy Prices for a ration
Hey mate, my local surplus store has got them for £6 and he does discounts if you buy a few. Thats where I normally get mine (when he has the stock). I'll give them a try next time I'm buying in bulk.
Sure if you find it and don't want it I'll gladly take off your hands, can do paypal and cheque.

I have found it but the pack date is 2001, it's a freeze dried "Pasta Milanaise"
I'm happy to a taste test on it with photo's unless your desperate for it?
