Red Chinese MRE?

Post by DangerousDave » Mon Sep 08, 2008 12:10 pm

Has anyone ever had one of these. OLETROOP has one on Ebay right now(#220278795064). Of course, I don't deal with oletroop anymore, since he tryed to rip me off a long time ago, and he's near Pineland. He want's 30 bucks for this. Might be interesting to see what the little commie bastard soldiers eat in the field. :?:

Sounds like a lot of money for what's probably just some dehydrated rice and flavoring.

The CHICOM army (PLA) have several types of rations. From canned to new self heating MRE's like rats.

Their menus interesting so are varied although rice is in most of them.

The following pics show that thay are advancing in technology so we can't underestimate them.

Can anyone translate the text on the bottom part of that meal bag? I can see the middle part is already in English - I'm just wondering if the bottom part contains the menu info.

I introduce the Chinese ration different from them.

911a/b Standard Individual Soldier Food
By a joint exercise with a foreign army, the China army uses it.
This is produced with naval facilities.

Compressed dry food
An amount of energy is 2500K calories.
This is also produced with naval facilities.

RationZ Standard Pack 2 (HALAL)
I think that it is not for China armies but the ration for export.
It is made in this company:
