Racion individual de emergencia

Spanish individual emergency ration.
I recently got some Spanish items. I don't usually bother because when it's easy to get, it aint that interesting, but I was out of them, so I stocked up. Anyway, my purchase also included some of these which I thought might be of interest. They don't often crop up so it was nice to get a few.
This is not a meal/MRE like the regular Spanish rations, it is, as the name implies, an emergency ration. The contents are (more or less) as follows....
Coffee, sugar, sweets, water purification tabs, hydration tab, vitamin tab, fuel tab, jerky (or to translate more directly "chewable dry meat"), energy bar type thing, matches, and possibly more/less as I really don't know because I haven't opened one.
It has a listed expiry date of OCT 2008.
It is sealed in plastic, and the contents are stored in a tin.
The pic with the MRE is just for size reference.
